When she clapped the sound travels down the line.People put their hands up in a wave. We saw the dopper before we heard the sound because light travels faster then sound.

Poem - I Hear

I hear...
When I think of my mum's house
I hear
Screaming like a bunch of cats out the door Sometimes a loud BANG!! as if it was someone who dropped a brick on the concrete.
At night when I’m trying to sleep I hear cars going down and up the road.
When I wake up I hear music as if it's a party
I also hear the tv.
When I go for a walk to the shop I hear dogs, kids yelling.
When I got back I heard the fridge making noises.
And there, just outside the top window
As if it had never ceased to be
But only needed listening to
My sister is singing.

Here is the original poem. I have written my own version.
